Naša učiteljica turskog nam je stalno govorila “hadi, turkče konušalim”. A to je bio njen poziv nama da koristimo njen jezik I da se tako sporazumevamo. Nažalost, moram da priznam da je ona kao vodolija slaba u predavanju jezika, dok je jednom lavu, njenom zemljaku iz Istanbula, to mnogo bolje išlo.
On je voleo da priča o istoriji I turskom osvajanju Beograda I Srbije, uopšte. On je bio mišljenja da osvajanje zemlje se vrši preko glavnog grada. To je zapravo bio naum onog koji je viši od njega, a on nam je samo ispipavao puls. Medjutim, mi se uopšte nismo uzbudili zbog sve te priče. Valjda zbog toga što je on već bio oženjen I imao žensko čeljade..
Rekoh mu: “šta se ti sa mnom šetaš po Kalemegdanu I pričaš na turskom, a na srpskom razumem?”
A on mi kaza: znaš, pre nego sam došao amo bio sam u Rusiju I Bugarsku (ne znam gde je bio najpre!)
On mi je ličio na tatinog očuha koji je iznenada preminuo nakon što se vratio sa pecanja. Spopala ga je vrućina jer je bio avgust mesec devedeset prve. I to je sve nekako povezano sa sv. Ilijom. Prosto je osetio nešto u srcu I pružio se koliko je dug u kupatilu.
Iza toga sam ga sanjala da mi se obraća iz groba sav ljutit što sam mu rekla “hej bre!” Ja sam bila spavala u Nišu kada se to dogodilo. Oni mi zato kažu da mi je život mnogo dosadan jer sve “važne I uzbudljive dogadjaje” prespavam. Žao mi je, što me oni tako vide.
Ili na turskom: “Korkarim ki takma diši kullanadžaksiniz.”
